Adoption and Orphan Care Goals

Hands of Hope Adoption and Orphan Care Ministry, Inc. wants to educate the Christian community on God’s heart for orphans and their needs; motivate them to help orphans in need of families; and support them when they are in the process of, or have already adopted.

Broaden people's view of why to adopt (beyond infertility issues)
Inform others of God's heart for adoption (globally)
Make others aware of the need for adoption (for orphans outside the US)
Make others aware of the need for support of orphans that will never be adopted (outside the US)
Inform on the process of adoption (i.e. how to, costs, methods, organizations...)

Help orphans in need of families
Helping orphans that will never be adopted (e.g. relief projects or short term missions trips)
Host orphans in short term situations

Come along side those in some phase of adoption
Provide emotional support (pre/post adoption)
Provide financial resources to afford the upfront cost of adopting
Provide information, e.g. help with the application process and help others overcome obstacles
Prayer for families, children that are waiting to be adopted and children that will never be able to be adopted
