Adoption and Orphan Care Goals

Hands of Hope Adoption and Orphan Care Ministry, Inc. wants to educate the Christian community on God’s heart for orphans and their needs; motivate them to help orphans in need of families; and support them when they are in the process of, or have already adopted.

Education Goals

  1. Inform others of God’s heart for adoption and orphan care
  2. Make others aware of the need for adoption and broaden their view of why to adopt
  3. Make others aware of the need for support of orphans that will never be adopted
  4. Inform on the process of adoption (i.e. how to, costs, methods, organizations …)

Motivation Goals

  1. Help orphans in need of families
  2. Help orphans that will never be adopted (e.g. projects or short term mission trips)
  3. Provide child sponsorships for children at Exodo orphanage in El Salvador


Support Goals

  1. Come along side those in any phase of adoption
  2. Provide emotional support (pre and post adoption)
  3. Provide financial resources to afford the upfront cost of adopting
  4. Provide information, e.g. help with the application process and help others over-come obstacles
  5. Pray for families, children that are waiting to be adopted, and children that will never be adopted
