El Salvador 2010 Missions TripJune 2010A team of 28 traveled to San Salvador, El Salvador to extend a hand of hope to orphans at Exodo orphanage. There were two teams hard at work during the week. The first team worked directly with the kids as they hosted a Vacation Bible School. The kids participated in games, art work, Bible stories and much much more. The kids each created a tie-dye shirt. The second team was the work team that participated in facility improvement projects. First the teams painted the interior bathrooms and sink areas with oil based paints so that the walls were sealed and easily washable. Secondly, vanities were built and tiled so that the kids can have a place to put their bathroom accessories. Finally, network security was installed on all the computers to ensure safety and reliability when using the internet.
Hands of Hope 2010 Picnic @ Holland ParkHands of Hope hosted it's 2010 Picnic @ Holland Park in early June to celebrate another year in the life of the ministry. The park was alive with good food, fellowship, fun with kids, face paint and balloons. Here are some photos from the event.

Saturday, June 18th, a team from Hands of Hope and Grace Community Church will be traveling to El Salvador on a missions trip to Exodo orphanage. The purpose of the trip is to:
1. Share the hope and love of Jesus Christ to the children and staff at Exodo
2. Strengthen the relationship between Hands of Hope and Exodo
3. Provide necessary items for the kids: towels, vitamins, etc...
4. Work projects to repair a roof, repair a floor and a paint buildings
5. Distribute food to needy families in San Salvador
Please pray for the team as they travel and that God would provide for every need. Also pray that lives are impacted not just at Exodo, but also the team members that are going on behalf of Hands of Hope and Grace Community Church.
