China Orphans Receive BooksJanuary 23rd, 2010Thank you for volunteering to give the gift of books to orphans in China. During the Grace Weekend of Service, the volunteers of Grace made Christmas cards for orphans. In addition to sending Christmas Cards, money was also sent so that books could be purchased and distributed to the kids. Here are a few photos with children looking through the books.
Hands of Hope Plans Multicultural Celebration

Hands of Hope will be hosting a Multicultural Celebration on Friday March 5th at 6:00 PM @ Grace Community Church. The celebration will feature music, games, food, lots of fun and fellowship to celebrate diversity at Grace. If you have a heart for orphans come celebrate with us how God is intervening in the lives of children all over the world through orphan care and adoption.
Hands of Hope Milestone

A little over a year ago, Hands of Hope started our adoption assistance program to help adopting families overcome the financial burdens. Hands of Hope is excited to see the fruits of a lot of people's labor bloom this month. What a great month to celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ and to celebrate the birth of a completed adoption. One of the families coming home is the Huffman family. We are a brand new Frontline Ministry of Grace Community Church, led by members of the Covenant Community of Grace.
Our aims are to educate our church as a whole on God’s heart for the fatherless and their needs, motivate the people of Grace to help orphans in need of families and care, and support those families who are in process of, or have already adopted.
